About Xplore Drilling
Founded in 2024, Xplore Drilling pairs 40 years of combined drilling experience with the newest RC fleet in Western Australia.
Our story
Much of Australia's exploration drilling still runs on rigs designed 15 to 25 years ago. We took a different path and ordered new. Safer, faster, more reliable machines, built here in Australia.
Our current rigs are utilised and in the field — Schramm T685s with full auxiliary air and support fleet. We're growing fast, with a fleet of new next-generation OX-SR72 rigs currently in build and rigs 5 and 6 already on the way.
We're not the biggest name in the industry and we don't need to be. We win work the way drillers always have: referrals, references and the quality of the last hole.
Safety before metres
Every rig carries dual breakout, rod restraint, fire suppression, programmable isolation and dust suppression as standard. Our LTIFR is zero and we plan to keep it there.
Quality without shortcuts
Recovery never gets traded for speed. Clean samples and honest metre-by-metre reporting are the product. Everything else supports that.

New equipment and digital maintenance keep our rigs at a 95% availability standard, so your program runs on your schedule.
Xplore Drilling works in line with the ISO 9001 quality standard and is working towards certification.
Where we work
We drill throughout Western Australia, from the Murchison and Goldfields to the Pilbara, specialising in deep-hole RC programs where self-sufficiency is non-negotiable.
Camps, bulk fuel, water cartage and Starlink travel with the rig, so your program isn't hostage to the nearest town. We keep our clients' names and locations confidential. Ask us for references instead.
